Cork cycling helmets

Giro Sport Design worked with Philippe Starck, a renowned French industrial designer and artist, and created a cycling helmet of aluminium, cork and a sophisticated industrial design. It is an avant-garde helmet with an attractive design and using unconventional materials. It has a cork coating that manages any impact and makes it water resistant and provides antimicrobial properties. The casing is made of lightweight aluminium that is easily recyclable at the end of life of this helmet, the first product in a line that includes other articles designed to make urban cycling safer, more comfortable and stylish.
