Todd Bracher has surrendered to cork and made a jacket
American designer Todd Bracher quickly realized that cork had a lot to give. He confessed that it was a different material from everything he had known before and he made a jacket out of the bark of the cork oak. The garment was presented at the Milan Furniture Salon through the architecture and design magazine Wallpaper, in an exhibition of 100 innovative objects integrated in the Handmade collection. The choice of cork as a textile material was motivated by the “Metamorphosis” exhibition of ExperimentaDesign in the Jerónimos Monastery, in Lisbon.
