Cork roof and dashboard of Peugeot
The Peugeot 208 Natural, a car that is 100% of Brazilian origin, has a cork roof and dashboard. The chosen material ensures better thermal and acoustic insulation. The vehicle, which stands apart for the use of sustainable raw materials, such as cork, was presented by Peugeot Brazil at the São Paulo International Motor Show, in October and November 2014. Amorim Cork Composites was one of the partners in this project which also involved the Brazilian Embraer company.
